iPhone vs android. I am not a fan of either Apple or Google but I am very pleased with my iPhone 6.
I think both are great phones and both have their flaws. But, they were designed to accomplish something very different. When it comes to communication and entertainment, I think both make excellent devices for doing that.
iPhone vs Android
I know these two companies are well known for their smartphones but I want to tell you about our life before the two of them. Let’s talk a little bit about how we got here. A few years ago, people were asking if iPhones and/or Androids will win the battle against each other in terms of technology. We already had smartwatches then. These days, people are talking about wireless charging and battery life of course. Then, we came up with some features for all the phones. The first one is a camera bump. I think this is essential for everyone. With that, the iPhone 5 has a rear camera on its front.
So whenever you put your finger on the back of the device, you get a perfect view for you. Another thing with the iPhone is there is an always-on earbud connection. For somebody who doesn't want to charge their phone every night before bed, this feature makes a lot of sense. I don't like having to leave the car to get a charger. . It's not convenient. But everything else (aside from the battery) is just as easy: all the features people see on iPhones are the same as what people see on other models. Much easier than buying another device. By the way, people have to spend about $300 or more. This is not a problem for most of us. Not many people are willing to pay $200. As with Android, it will be a while before he can use 4G LTE on the new model. At least four people in a family who use at least three smartphones get 4G on their devices. Of course, we need to carry along our gadgets from place to place when the case in the car doesn’t fit. We also have USB-C ports so no need to worry about power. Yes, I did say that it takes some time. So far, the iPhone has been around for almost 10 years. On the iPhone 7, there was no water resistance. In iPhone X, it came with IP68 certification and it’s only 6 feet long. It took me a while to adjust to the longer screen size. Since then, the iPhone has remained in the lead over Android in terms of market share. It makes you wonder why Google hasn’t made a flagship of its own. So many products are coming after it. No doubt, Google wants to keep its business away from Apple and let customers be able to purchase anything they want. After all, people do want their services free of cost. That is what they look for. They don’t care if it costs money or not. This clearly shows that people are making more money by buying Apple than they are by looking for a smartphone. To conclude it all, I am happy I got one of those good quality iPhone 6. Isn’t it?
Conclusion
My last question would have been which one is better than the other. I didn’t think that the question would be so obvious. Like, it would be really hard to answer unless I knew what happened to the Sony Xperia 1 (which is still top of the list because it was introduced in 2010). Maybe if I knew its history, I probably wouldn’t ask. The simple answer to the question would just be “they are both great tech”. Now let’s wrap it up.
Both of them are great tech. If we compare Android vs iOS, I have to say the competition is fierce. Neither is very likely to beat the other in the end. People will buy whatever iPhone X is available in the stores right now. My conclusion is to buy whatever model you like. Don’t think too much. Because we live in an era where there is pretty much nothing to choose between. So, just buy whatever works for you. Not an iPhone user? Get a Samsung Galaxy series device. Same with Apple. Buy whichever one appeals to you the most.
